Here we are, last quarter of the year! So far into 2009, we saw some progress in some areas and stagnation in others.
Our work with Thursday Tutoring in Malaysia is going strong and there has been a lot of awareness stirred up by the local media. We hope from all that, more members will be encouraged to take the step to donate 2 hours a week to the 3 shelter homes we have been volunteering at.

2 years ago today, a friend and I visited a shelter home to send a bundle of Enid Blyton books. During that outing, we spent time with the children and read them a book. Times flies. 2008 really flew by so fleetingly. We are approaching Helping Angels’ second Christmas.
More and more folks are needing all sorts of help so we are doing something to help the underprivileged folks in northern Thailand. As this year’s winter is particularly bitter in Thailand, The Cambridge Society of Thailand, in collaboration with Helping Angels has organized a blanket donation project to donate warm blankets to disadvantaged people in the cold areas of Chiangrai and Nan.
