We have had quite a few prominent deaths in 2009 to reflect upon, we can’t ignore and persist life …
All events are put up every week at our Facebook group – RSVP there. Turn up if you are interested to try this out. You are fit as long as you have no trouble doing ABC-123 or joining dots!
Recruiting skilled volunteers, barbers, doctors, dentists, teachers, repairmen, animal groomer, vets, pet rescuers, counsellors, trainers, et cetera. You will be able to help somebody if you have a skill or service to offer.
Stay tuned to learn about new activities that will involve a beneficially meaningful time. It may involve any type of welfare, if you have any ideas please get in touch with us. From these events, we seek to instill a learning curve for all involved.

Here we are, last quarter of the year! So far into 2009, we saw some progress in some areas and stagnation in others.
Our work with Thursday Tutoring in Malaysia is going strong and there has been a lot of awareness stirred up by the local media. We hope from all that, more members will be encouraged to take the step to donate 2 hours a week to the 3 shelter homes we have been volunteering at.

2 years ago today, a friend and I visited a shelter home to send a bundle of Enid Blyton books. During that outing, we spent time with the children and read them a book. On the way home, a strong desire was reawakened to organize all the welfare events that I used to do, but this time using Facebook!
